Yeah there's SO MANY data options with Sauce and so many ways to display them that it takes a bit of tinkering to nail down what's useful for you, and get the balance between having the extra data on screen vs cluttering up your screen with too much. You can set up multiple profiles so have one set of data for a race , a different layout for TTT, and another for just group rides etc. which does seem like the way to go as you don't always need the same info on screen for those different activities

I've seen people tracking their W'bal and other people's as well to see how much there is left in the tank.
Amazing what you can do, really. I think this sort of thing should be incorporated into Zwift and hopefully one day it might.

Oh yeah - I should have put the w'bal thing on. I don't really understand it but those races would have been a good time to see it work becuase I definitely didn't have much left in the tank at times

I don't have a good understanding of it either, but I think it represents your anaerobic reserve.
Over at zwiftracing.app they show an estimate of anaerobic reserve on your profile. You can also see that of your competitors in a pre-race lineup (and even sort the table by it - and various W/kg metrics and weight).

I find the W/kg short power metrics very useful for predicting the outcome of punchy climby races like yesterday's Tinies. Yesterday it was spot-on (the above screenshot is a random one from today's list)

To me that would be a bit too much info. I even don't even do course notes lately.

That's because you're too cool for school Peter. I need all the plotting and planning I can get to score any segment points (apart from punchy climbs) in ZRL. This week's flat course is going to be challenging. I don't use Sauce, but probably would get drawn in by the siren call of all that lovely data if was on a PC.

Guessing sauce isn't compatible with apple tv

Bound to be some smart cookie out there who could design a phone app that could sit like an extra Garmin computer in your handlebars. Customisable for what each screen shows etc. not as ideal as being on the zwift hub but could make for more ‘in real life’ experience if combined with the zwift view with no HUD at all.

I can’t see zwift developing similar for either the companion app or main game given their history at rolling out even the most basic of HUD changes.

OK fair enough. Should have said computer. But it still doesn't work on iPad, iPhone, Android or Apple TV (and if we're being ultra-anal about it, most of those are computers too. So what's a guy to do? ) Can't say desktop either coz it works on laptops.

PC is in general a Windows-based computer - whether it is personal is up to you. ^_^ Have you ever heard a Mac user tell you he bought a new PC, when he bought a Mac? No, me neither.
