Also, the gaps between 1st and 10th places at each of the Primes (so you can see how much the field is getting split up and where):
Div 1 - BDiv 2 - BDiv 3 - BDiv 1 - CDiv 2 - C
Fox Hill (1) - 5km0:020:130:250:260:42
Leith Hill - 14.5km0:180:210:221:152:23
Keith Hill - 31km1:042:101:551:525:45

Looks like the B's are kind of staying together until the top of Leith, then splitting over Box (not a prime, so not listed) whereas the C's are splitting as soon as they're over Fox.

Guys my opinion is people go up the hills too fast at the bottom. And then suffer further up. Especially leith which is much longer than I think some of the field anticipate. But the trouble is unless you go with them then there’s a good chance you never see them again. It’s ok to say you’re going to ride your own race of course. But really in my opinion if you want to finish as high as possible the only time to ease up is if you think the group behind you is likely to catch the group ahead of you. Just my 2 cents...

Wow, well done @Ketty - that's Double Devil levels of epic-ness! How was the weather for you because it was really awful here on Sunday?

Edit: Just realised you probably don't know what I'm on about and I should point out the Double Devil is a very long, very climby event in Wales that several of us have done a few times over the years
Thanks mate :okay:
Weather was good, but windy (20-30mph) later on and one 5 min shower but considering it was biblical all week it was like a Yorkshire summer

Is there much draft effect going on at 6+%?

https://zwiftinsider.com/draft-savi...significant factor,the rider you're following.

Some but not a huge amount. There's the psychological aspect though, it's horrible watching people disappear into the distance. Then of course when it flattens and goes downhill the draft is massivey important again

That reminds me - I was watching a video of someone's time-lapse ride of Etape Loch Ness the other day (because assuming it goes ahead, I'll be doing that in late August and wanted to see the course first hand) and for 90% of it they'd set some generic rock or R&B tracks to be the background music. That is except when it came to the one big climb of the course - all of a sudden it changed to "Everybody Hurts" which did make me laugh!
