It’s just occurred to me the last time we did a scratch race we did a rolling start because people seem to get released from the gun at slightly different times... and obviously slightly different positions. Probably a bit late in the day to mention it now though... fingers crossed it works out.

Attempting to live off of former glories more like bud. I don’t think this is a course which suits me tonight. I’ll just be looking to scalp as many victims as possible. I could try and be a bit more diplomatic but it’s best we don’t kid ourselves eh! 😁👍

My earphones are charging in the bedroom and my wife has just taken our 8mth old up for a feed and sleep so I can’t retrieve them.

Therefore no music and no chance of winning without the proven benefit of loud music to motivate me!

Well done Bridgy. You definitely won by a couple of bike lengths. Not sure why @BurningLegs is a few seconds back? Looked to be in front of me by the end.

Edit; although it did seem like a couple of people went off early by 3 of 4 seconds so maybe that's it?

I think I used everything to stay with you folks up the second Kom and didn't get a powerup so happy to finish in the top group. Unlucky Pete and great ride Bob
