Thats good work Bridgy and Tommy. It’s tough because theres a lot of riders of similar ability. I think the course and availability might determine the teams, for instance @mjd1988 has a great sprint, and my climbing ability is akin to Andre Greipel.

Can we agree on 2 captains. I’m happy to register one team (and I’d like to get in early on 1st October) as the earlier you enter the higher up the ladder the team will be.

now we just need a clever and witty team name...ideas on a postcard
Cyclechat 1 and Cyclechat 2?

Next :cuppa:

Also forgot the check with @steverob ?
Yeah, while I'm still working from home it might be worth signing me up for our second team, but even then probably on the proviso that I'd be the last guy called upon if you really couldn't fill the teams. Let's face it, not much point in me signing up for the first team as well - if you're that short on numbers that you need someone like me to join, you've got some much bigger problems!

My numbers are 2.7 w/kg / 255 watts (I've excluded my best result of 2.8 as that was in a short iTT and I always do better in those).

Is the second team going to race in C or are both going to be in B?

Today’s a sad day. I have to notch up my Zwift weight from 78 to 79kg. I was doing ok food wise today until the missus found an unwrapped Christmas present - a box of you know what’s in the cupboard. Out of date in May but still too tempting

on a more serious note did anyone watch the Freddy Flintoff documentary yesterday about his experience with bulimia? I can draw some parallels to that as I get very stressed / grumpy if I don’t get my daily exercise in.

Good point @steverob . Only 3 of us are in Cat C - you, @Ketty and @Joffey . But you need a minimum of 4 riders in each team for the TTT stages so unless you get at least one more Cat C or D to join the 3 of you we will have to stick with the original plan of two B Cat teams really

So @IrishAl is team captain for Cyclechat 1 (unless anyone comes up with a more imaginative name!). We need a captain for Cyclechat 2, and also a team manager. The team manager can be associated with multiple teams but each individual team needs a separate captain

Did you check your height if you are stretch as well?. That must be temporary heat expansion ^_^

I feel like cyclechat #23 and cyclechat #68 gives an illusion of strength in depth that might give us a psychological edge...and needlessly confusing so all boxes are ticked.
Spoken like a true captain 😁

Does the team captain have to actually be in the team? It's just that as a number of the people on here could find themselves in either the 1st or 2nd team (I'm not calling them A and B, because I feel that then starts getting confusing with the categories of the same name) on a week by week basis, depending on who's available; so we might end up with the situation where the 2nd team captain is racing in the 1st team on some weeks!
