He's lucky not to be kicked out the race.Sagan in trouble, the correct sanction applied
That would be harsh and not what normally happens, he didn't cause a crash and I have seen video and photos that suggest he was leaning to avoid a camera on a selfie stick, although that's probably a of a stretch. But it was poor positioning to go up the inside when there was no gap especially as a few seconds before he was the other side of Van Aert. Mind you Sagan has deliberately blocked him previously so there is history there. He's lucky not to be kicked out the race.

Van Aert got a 200 Swiss franc fine for giving Sagan a finger after the line. The aerial video, shows him elbow-ing and head butting Van Aert out of the way to make space. He was doing this from behind on Van Aert's side. Nothing came of it- racing incident.
Since Cavendish crash a couple of years ago, riders must not change line or force others off line.
The sanction was fair I believe. If Van Aert had crashed, then disqualification would have been appropriate
In his interview after the race he said he used a few choice words tooVan Aert got a 200 Swiss franc fine for giving Sagan a finger after the line.
Much like the few I had for you on the BigringVR Bales ride yesterday. I'd be broke if it was 200 per swear word.In his interview after the race he said he used a few choice words too

Had to increase my weight on Zwift by 5lbs today Good job I'm not racing much on there at present. Now time to take it off again over the next few weeks
No need to hurry Martin, do what i did. I have a 5year delay of weight adjustments. I kept my weight a 82kg about 5 years before i realized my weight doesn't go down, so i need to swallow my disappointment and set 85kg to Zwift. Now i have another 5year delay in progress to hope that i can set back 80kg .Had to increase my weight on Zwift by 5lbs today Good job I'm not racing much on there at present. You had impressive average speed.I did a group ride today which i didn't like. When the ride start i was close of leaders yellow beacon, suddenly that leaders yellow beacon jump way much forward, i was thinking what a %&@©. I decided if group is planned to keep together and yellow beacon keep bouncing like that i will abandon the ride and do a ride...by myself (more quality) . Last week when i did same group ride, same bouncing was happened, i thought that was a bug of latest update but this host team seems to like to change leader during a ride, that's how it looked.
