Not much to report here , spat out on first lap , lost concentration , drifted near the back of the pack and couldn’t stick with it on one of the little inclines . Usually like to be nearer front on them to allow for a bit of falling back if needed . Plus point , I saw 10 w/kg for a second or so when I was sprinting . Thanks Steen for not putting too much pressure on😀 . Great race Martin , well done @Milzy , @BurningLegs and @Del C .

The Finnish person was a female. I thought the Leugues were of one sex only? 😲

@JLaw @steverob - Was it any help me watching it on ZP live? Them two lads who attacked late on might have been a problem, not sure if either of you were gonna chase? Happy to do it every week.
That was absolutely brilliant work - road captain extraordinaire! I doubt I would have had the legs to catch those three guys who went off at the start of the final lap anyway, but as soon as you said they weren't on ZP, I was all "fine, let em go" and went back to concentrating on our mini-race. However I almost certainly would have chased the Icelandic guy who was with us until late on if you hadn't said anything, which of course would have meant burning my matches before the sprint.

I've tried that .... he doesn't accept friend requests ..... all a bit suspect. But, he stays within the legal numbers so, I'll have to work hard to try and beat him again
For some reason I thought you were going to migrate into B tonight. 😳🤪

Well I'll keep at it - it works if we are all together anyway! On the hilly courses I may not be much use  Next week I'll do a group PM just for our team, let the others waste their energy and save ours if that's possible on the phone app.

Generally, women are allowed to enter the men's races/cats. The E-cat is ONLY for women however, but number of riders is usually very low, so the faster women join the men.

Tomorrows race has 40+ women signed up in E cat, which is quite unsual. Close to 500 riders in total have signed up, which is pretty good for a community race!

Manon Lloyd of GCN sandbagging in c group!

Also. That was crazy.
Didn't have the legs to stay with that lead group - too fast for me :surrender:

Ended up rolling around last of lap 1, whole of lap 2, and most of lap 3 on my own. With the exception of a rider called Martinez, who averaged 3.4 w/kg (248 watts) constantly, never fluctuating. Must have been a bot  Even ERG mode isn't that stable.

I was like a glowing tomato. I wished I'd hung in just little longer, but told myself go until it feels too much. I was surprised I lasted in the front pack so long.

Well done all those with determination to finish 👍
I was hoping you'd go over the top and sit on my wheel for a little spin :okay: But, when you pop,you pop :B)
