Are we sure this is a team event also ,as I have not seen anything mentioned about teams
The DBR Sufferday league has team standings on Zwiftpower and there is a team standing tab for tonight's league

I'm worried that I can last the whole 26 miles...

Am I right in thinking that we can only see the riders in our Cat? Think I saw that on ZP? If that was the case there will only be 10 or so of us on the course!
I’m not sure Joffey about other cat riders but I think they go off b4 us anyways so we might see them lapping us.😂
I’m usually not a quick starter but I know I can last the duration.
Maybe if your fit at the beginning you can grab sprint points and Kom points.
If I’m behind and catch you up then perhaps if your not attached with a group then I can tag you along.
I guess We will have to suck it and see because we don’t really know each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

Do we know what part of the course you can grab points?
Assuming it's a clockwise ride, the first sprint will be after about 3 mins. Then the 12 mins or so fast flats, followed by probably 5 mins of rolling until the KoM (which is about 4 mins duration). After that, more rolling to get back onto the main flat section ... back past the start pens and to the sprint again .... then on to the flats, rolling, KoM, rolling and a final sprint/Finish.

Joffey, just enjoy it, don't fret too much. Its only a fun race:okay::crazy:
As Andy says @Joffey , enjoy the race and don't worry too much about where you come. Use it as 60 minutes of good exercise ... anything else is a bonus :wahhey:

@Marino.g used to race with us a few years ago on Bkool and as I recall was a good steady pace rider, so you could do well to jump on his wheel and work together if you get the chance ... i used to do this on Bkool back in the day :hugs:

The water carrier suits me as I’ve nominated Joffey as cat D leader :okay: for the glory

Just remembered, I've raced this course before. Checking on ZP this was back in September. Below are my ZP numbers. Hopefully my ave watts will be slightly higher tonight and it takes a little less than 70 minutes!

As i recall I got dropped on the rolling section after the KoM on the first lap and for ages I was riding on my own. Nuno joined me (can't recall if I caught him or he caught me) but we pretty much rode the whole second lap together, taking it in turns to pull. On the road (but not showing in ZP) there was a group of 2 chasing us and we just managed to hold them off.

Not sure if this helps, but it probably sets some expectations on duration tonight, especially if you end up riding alone at times.

Edit: my PB on the KoM is 5:24 @ 247 watts, if that helps timings and effort

What is this "knocking yourself up" of which you speak?

I have been painting all the walls in the garage but before I could paint I had to move a run of 8 foot shelves full of boxes of rubbish I have been saving that may come in useful some day 😂 ,got 3 coats on the area I was doing then moved the shelves and rubbish back ( it may come in useful somtime😂), sat on the training bike and let out a yelp as the spot/boil made contact with the saddle 🤬
