Aim For sub 1 hour on the Alpe.
My PB is 58 mins, I did 62 mins yesterday when pushing at about 75%-80% so doable. But I was hoping Martin would have a mare and set a crap time so I didn't have to work too hard  Seems I'm going to have to bust a gut now  You watch, I'll be slower tomorrow than I was last night

If you are not slower then you recover incredibly well.

Steady 15 miles tonight after doing 16 MTB miles yesterday. I'd just eaten, so wasn't up for anything too fast. My music stopped half way through the session, and it was my wife knicking the amazon music account (we only have the one) so had to quickly google Capital Manchester and stream that.

I'd been having the odd wifi issue with the powerline adapter, so had been running off LAN via the powerline adapter. We've upgraded our BT router to the latest with the Mesh discs - I get a really solid WIFI connection in the garage now, one disc in the garage which relays to the nearest disc in the house, which then relays to the router. Works brilliantly and no swapping wifi - it automatically changes to the best signal.

Looks like you knocked 4 minutes of the default time you was given  Leaves you 5 mins behind @bridgy with the big climb tomorrow evening ..... Still all to play for?!?
It's better than that for @berty bassett - you're looking at the handicap times. If you look at the non handicap times Lee's ride today has knocked 7 minutes off his deficit and puts him within 2 minutes of me. Having lost 5 minutes or so to him on the last hilly stage I'm not overly confident.... :headshake:

Seems 2 of us are going to have to bust a gut tonight ! I can't even drop my weight to help me as I've not been consistantly in the 78kg range this week :banghead: I must try harder! !!

Shall we not bother and call it a draw :okay: we both know what’s coming tonight - a long persistent slog , last hilly course it was short bursts and recovery downs , there is nowhere to recover this time - I don’t think ther will be much in it either way - but it has been fun

Ignore him Paul. He loves a long hard slog. He’s just trying to trick you into taking it easy.

Paul is right - less than 2 mins between him and Lee going into the final stage :boxing:

Latest standings below so you can see how much time you need to make up / protect to your nearest rivals tonight.

Can't say I'm looking forward to it

More detail on Tour of Watopia - the basis of our next league - starting next week: https://zwiftinsider.com/tour-of-watopia-2019/

Looks like they're showing off a few new features to spice things up a bit. Also worth noting that stage 3 is going to be a group workout so we may need to arrange an alternative stage for our league (or just leave that stage out of the league results)
I'm already looking forward to Stage 5 - short and flat! ^_^

I vote that stage 3 is a rest week (as i'll be sunning myself in Spain then :sun:) and we can all eat and drink as much as we like.

Well I've done the ramp test. This sums it up.

Disappointed a bit with the result, FTP down from 215 to 204. But it is a learning curve when doing these test. I thought I'd get to the 300, maybe 320w segment. But failed at about 45s in to the 280w segment. I was spinning and not winning, i needed to just drop my cadence I think. Legs felt good, Heart and Lungs not so much.

Day off tomorrow unless the sun is out, decorating over the weekend. Then next week start on the Gran Fondo plan.
