I mentioned my girlfriend in front of some young hippiechick who had been looking much too interested in me. She hasn't really spoken or looked at me since which is a good thing as I am much to old for her and far too interested in M to even notice her if she wasn't so blatent about it.

Yesterday in Grassmarket Edinburgh...

Elderly lady kept walking into road, looking at traffic and returning to kerb.Obviously having great problems crossing the road.

Being a good egg, I stepped out boldly, stopped a helpful driver and said "Its OK to cross now!"

She replied......


"I'm not trying to cross, I'm waiting for my Son, I just want to see if he is coming"


Foiled - have to return my Boy Scout road crossing badge now!
