He now lives in our village.

Unfortunately, Freddy died a couple of months ago during the last lockdown. He hadn't been well, having been the subject of a violent attack sometime previously to when I first met him. He was badly beaten up and had acid thrown in his face - losing sight in one eye and was permanently on crutches. I think he also had some brain damage as he was a bit slurred all the time. Lovely fella though and cheerful throughout, despite his problems.
He apparently had a fall at home, which, complicated by his other problems, proved fatal.
I miss seeing him around the village.

No-one since can touch him. He went off to form Propaganda in Germany IIRC.

The late Andy Fraser of Free did it for me, a wonderfully talented bass player in a band of exceptional musicians. Mr Big is one of my favourites.
