First bee of the year, not moving at great speed.
Saw lots of lapwings last week whilst out walking, no pics unfortunately.The Peak District in the winter is very quiet, just a few crows, grouse. Every sensible bird evacuates to lower ground
But all it takes is a some mild, early Spring weather and things start to change. Out today...curlews and lapwings on territory and displaying and singing. Heard grey and pied wagtails and heard an Oystercatcher. Peak District is waking up

She’s back in the box but seems to have dislodged the wire that connects the IR illuminator.
