I'm overrun with rabbits, loads of 'em. They, and the moles, have trashed my lawn. And my ferocious dog would rather chase a tennis ball than go after the rabbits. Grrrrr.

And we've got adders in the garden/woods behind the house. Nearly stepped on one the other day

I am assuming these are wasps (Common Aerial Yellowjacket)

Nice looking nest. As long as they leave me alone I will leave them alone. I don't think there can be that many in there?

Storks are nesting all over the place here, but I caught these two just hanging about on a chimney yesterday.

When you can see them close enough to take a picture like this, you realise these are really big birds...

No photo and not really my wildlife, but riding around the back of Box Hill today I encountered a couple of cyclists trying to throw a gilet over a woodpecker that was scuttling around on the road so they could pick it up and remove it to safety.

Rubbish weather today. I saw and heard Cetti’s warblers, Sedge Warblers, Great Crested Grebes and a few other bits and bobs...

I think these wasps pack up and leave, at the end of the summer. Firelighters?!

about 5 lamp posts on my journey had these on today not there yesterday looks like something glued itself down to shed a skin and fly off
