Bowling harbour, did you have a cafe stop? Bowling in Victorian times had a road, 2 railways ,the Clyde and the canal for shipping was a busy little place.

I didn't have a cafe stop as I was carrying food.

Definitely a lovely little spot and as you say so much history. I spent ages looking a bridges and things. I love that sort of thing.

The Forth and Clyde canal. That's part of NCN 7. That's underneath the Eskrine Bridge. I drove my Peugeot 205 over it c2003. I'll take it back there again whenever I get it restored.
