In Arosa, Switzerland in April this year. People tell me this is a beautiful place with gorgeous views, but the cloud and sleet rather obscured all that.

My recently acquired secondhand Trek Marlin 7 29'er, in front of the somewhat unsafe 'safety' fence on the west abutment of the demolished Lands viaduct. This was on the first test ride around my usual off road loop and revealed a shonky headset bearing. The bike's superb otherwise and seems to roll comfortably over anything compared to my couple of 26 inch wheeled MTB's, although it's a bit like driving a bus in comparison! A slightly longer seatpost has since been added too.

More fence than railings, blocking access to the dilapidated bridge deck of the old railway where it goes over a farm access cutting on Cockfield Fell. Marin Bear Ars Valley SE, from last nights boggy, mini-pump losing tiny ride.
