The tree dead centre is interesting as its a Turners Oak which is Quercus x turneri a cross between Common and Holm Oak.
Semi evergreen and not even in view of the Whitbourne Hall,
This is atleast two interesting trees. The first is a bit obscured by the post, but is a very old cherry tree. One left over from when this was a cherry orchard. Then there are two Giant Sequoia in the distance and a row of more further back still. Just to the right of the two is a real interesting rarity. Its a Pine from the Rockies . It would have been planted as Pinus coulteri which is the Big Cone Pine, so known for its massive cones, 2 kg, but in fact someone fouled up as its the less desirable P.jeffreyi. I wonder if the original planter ever got to see the cones and realise it was wrong ?
This one is a bit predictable but it's from Richmond Park, a big horse chesnut. My dream bike that I only ride on dry sunny days; a Tifosi Mons 2018. Super light and a joy to ride, timeless.
Nude tree, clothed tree, a strange couple - the clothed one seems a bit prickly about being photographed with a streaker...possibly green with envy too
