UphillSlowly

Making my way slowly uphill
Probably Guns N Roses at the Milton Keynes Bowl back in 1993.

More recently there was a double header of Holiday Ghosts and the Bug Club at the Portland Arms in Canbridge last year that was pure indie heaven.

I would have loved to have seen GnR in their pomp!,Slash is probably my favourite guitarist

It's probably one of my Iron Maiden ones, at the O2 about 10 years ago.

And if you like that kind of thing, Livewire, the best AD/DC tribute act that you'll ever see, Brian Johnston replaced Bon Scott seamlessly in the middle of a non stop two hour show.

We were away in the caravan at Redcar Racecourse, there was a concert on at the same time, it was an all day thing iirc called Redcar Rocks, the last act was a Pink Floyd tribute band who were utterly fantastic, can’t remember what year it was, but they were note perfect, fantastic night sat outside listening to them, sometimes a good show can be found quite by accident

Several of the evening concerts when the Proms did a Stockhausen retrospective a few years ago. Los Lobos were superb live in Shepherd's Bush. Richard Thompson in Exeter & somewhere else. Jean Toussaint and Soweto Kinch have both played locally. Courtney Pine a week or so ago. I'm sure I'll remember others as soon as I hit 'reply'.
