Not right now thanksQuick release?
Are there more specific rules about 1 and 3?
It's just that they are open to interpretation.
1) Is there any distance specified in the moving rule? For example, if I'm dossing in a copse of half an acre size, can I doss in another copse quarter of a mile away or would that not be considered a proper move? Is it a minimum distance in miles?
3) Visiting the same place more than once - how big is somewhere to be considered the same place? If I find somewhere to crash in north Sheffield, would I then be allowed to crash somewhere else in, say, south Sheffield at a later point in the 28 day period?
Quite an interesting challenge I think.
Some ideas:
- Grow a beard if you can. Make sure there are lots of recent photo's with the beard. Shave off beard ASAP after 'escape'
- Divide compass into 6 x 60° number them 1 - 6. Roll a dice every day and move in the direction that corresponds to that sector on your compass. Will keep your movements random.
- Wear a burkah.
- My BiL moves barges and narrow boats around to get them in the right place for their next hire. Good way to travel undetected, especially if you're below decks.
- Canoe. Could spend loads of time moving on some of the longer rivers and wild camping.
At
At least 5 miles in each move. In 3 as long as more than 5 miles apart, no problem.
No worries. Wear a hat. You become practically invisible......The UK has roughly 1% of the world's population but an estimated 20%of the world's cctv cameras.
It then becomes a case of who & what yo're willing to trust.Re:3
A previous contestant tried that but stood out somewhat. So I think you have to go with the grey man or woman look. In other words blend in to your environment. So big rucksack and waterproof, fine on a long distance trail, not so much down Bromley high street.
Re:4
Far too many have got caught when they have involved family and friends. So I think you have to go dark as far as friends and family go.
They'd be able to hear your drivetrain in a few hours.

One pair were caught, having accepted a lift from one of the hunters.
Your biggest worry is your digital footprint, already in place.
I'd dress up as a woman aged over 60; apparently they're invisible......
And so far the extraction points have been in the south. Possibly to prevent something so simple being done. The celeb ones are the daftest - 'lets go and hid at our best mate/dad/family's house for a few days.
Nah I recon you could easily vanish in the Peaks/Lakes/Scotland/Yorkshire/Wales easily on an MTB.

How far in two days cycling though? You usually get enough notice to cycle to the extravtion points.
