I can assure you it wasn't, I can happily polish off a couple of bottles of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon and be fine but Rioja I'd always put it down to the Tannins in Spanish/Portuguese wines but come to think of it I'm not a fan of Spanish White wines either much preferring ItalianThe only reason you're getting a headache drinking rioja is down to the quantity you're drinking. Ah. Yes produced by Felix solis down in valdepenas south of Madrid passed it loads of times. My mate loved it , tho I was more a marque's de caceres fan. Both massive in spain.Will this be any good? View attachment 458762
