any1 shed some light on why chelsea are dropping so many points under 'big phil'? is it him or could it be that the current crop of chelsea players have become disillusioned with the club and have subsequently lost their passion and desire to win?

Not a clue. You're probably better off asking on a football forum!

Well, today they lost points because Phil didn't play one defensive midfielder, and The two central defenders ain't fit or good enough.
They really miss Essien.
Anelka only scores against average sides.
deco, and lampard and J cole will never defend
A Cole is money grabbing prima donna
Drogba's head is somewhere else
Cech isn't as good as he was

Kovu will be here soon:evil::smile::laugh:

Of coure, although I aint gonna say ought really, simply because Kovu doesn't like Chelski or Man U or Arsenal. Kovu watches proper football thank you very much.:thumbsup:

But on a different note, the team is silly, you got rid of Grant even though he came so close to the champions league title, and so close to the premier league title. Mourino kept everyone interested, more of a media symbol then an actual football club.

Hang on a moment, I've just looked at the day's results and the table. Chelsea are unbeaten away from home, in fact have won EIGHT of 10 games away!! That's something most fans would be chuffed with!

Besides, Fulham are playing for a place in Europe... did you really expect to turn up and win?? Methinks some fan expectations are getting a little high! You out to try dealing with the inconsistencies of supporting a lesser funded team!

Give me a problem like that any time

This is basically just a knee jerk reaction isn't it?
If you had beaten (a much improved) Fulham then you'd have been 1 point behind Liverpewl with a superior goal difference and probably content with the progress so far this season.
But now you're starting to question the team and manager!

Have some patience

Chelsea are not a big club now and never have been. They have experienced a sort of elongated version of the Jack Walker effect at Blackburn and will probably return to relative obscurity fairly soon.

Is there nothing you're not wrong on? ;)

Chelsea are a big club, and the enormous subsidies given them by the Russian peasantry will ensure that continues.

They need a proper manager.........an English bloke. It is after all the English Premier league.

Not some Johnny-foreigner-come-lately.;)

What is a 'big club'? Does that just mean 'big bank balance'? Was Man city a big club before it was bought or only since? Surely it's something more? a team with a loyal following, a big home crowd and a stuffed trophy room. Does Leeds count? Surely ManUre, Liverpewl and Newcastle would qualify.
Well, obviously not Newcastle, but I'm sure you can see were I'm going with the question.

John Obi Mikel is a defensive midfielder.
They really miss Essien.

Yes

Anelka only scores against average sides.

Yes.

deco, and lampard and J cole will never defend

No. Lampard works very hard protecting the back four. When Deco first came he did too, not sure what's happened there. Joe Cole just better not because he can't tackle for sh*t.

A Cole is money grabbing prima donna

No.

Drogba's head is somewhere else

Possibly, but he has only just returned from injury, and is looking much more positive than under Average Grunt.

Cech isn't as good as he was

He's had a few slips, but that goal today wasn't his fault by any means. John Terry isn't as good as he was it would seem, much as it saddens me to say so...
