Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning

Not sure how many know about this but today is the day that Macmillan Nurses have organised it to happen,my workplace is taking part so no doubt i will have slice of cake or two purely to help raise money for a good cause .

We had ours yesterday at work well organised by my friend, Deborah.
Didn't need to take lunch in as there were loads of goodies.
Had some lovely wee sandwiches made by a colleague from Pakistan. Asked her for the recipe, which was shredded chicken, lots of different spices and 45 years experience
Very nice and raised £££ too.

Call me grumpy, but I was a bit negative about Macmillan because they're far too involved in portraying cycling as an extreme sport worthy of sponsorship, then they finally jumped the shark by supporting a sportive (Tour de Broads) that only allowed participants who were "in good health" - which obviously excludes a lot of people that Macmillian should be helping rather than excluding.
