A few weeks ago my mum asked if I could fit a draught excluder to my grans bedroom door. No probs.
The door was already open so I place the excluder next to the outside edge of the door to get a cut measurement.

Mum: "I don't want it on that side. I want it on the inside of the door."
Me: "Yep I know. I'm just measuring it."
Mum: "Well dopey, if you measure on that side it'll be the wrong size won't it?"
Me: " The door is the same size on both sides mum!"
Mum: : "Oh right."

Scary.
