Mrs D is going quite well at the moment and thinks she might like to have a go at a road race (maybe the Omega Thruxton circuits) but is worried she'd be out of her depth and to old (she's 46).
She's used to riding at a good lick in a group, we did 70 miles at 18.6 average (doing 22-24mph on the flatter sections) on the club run yesterday which she didn't have any trouble staying with and she's mid 28'ish on a 'sporting' 10TT.
In a cat4/womens race does it all tend to stay together?
Any opinions/advice welcome.
