Does any one know if an extending ladder looses its stability. As over the past year it seems to have got more unstable when I climb up it.

IMO, testosterone and ladders are not a good mix. My b-i-l is a bit of an adrenaline junkie and was not bothered by taking the odd risk such as working from a wobbly ladder. Result - he nearly made a widow of my sister, had to endure a lot of pain and several major operations, and now has a titanium hip joint!No, it's your frame of mind that has become wobbly as you age and become less inclined to take risks. It's all to do with testosterone.

The guy in the video below clearly has too much testosterone to be allowed near a ladder...
