You can use CO2 for quick inflation, to pop tyre bead onto rim. But then you need to remove CO2 because alot of sealants dont like the gas and spoil its sealing characteristics. Inflate with pump

the joe's sealant claims to be OK to use with co2. i'm in two minds whether to carry a co2 pump in the pannier…
