I've got SealSkins - I wouldn't buy another pair. The lining is too loose, so getting them on again after the cafe stop is real grief. I've gone back to my trusty Decathlon's which are just completing their third winter.
Agree about the Sealskinz, I've noticed the same thing about the lining, but I can't fault the water proof quality of them. What model of Decathlon gloves did you find suitable for cycling? I checked their web site, but there's a bewildering array of gloves there, so I didn't know where to start looking. Also, are your Decathlon gloves waterproof?

These are the Decathlon ones (I think - the design is slightly different, but then mine are 3 or 4 years old now).
I also got these leather ones recently and I love them - warm in the cold, but not hot when the temperature warms up. Not used them in the rain though. In store, I think I paid £16.

I have a pair of winter gloves from Aldi and whilst not waterproof they always keep my hands nice and cosy - I can't remember how much they were so that means they must have been cheap! Regards, Mark

today received a pair of “Cold weather/All weather Waterproof Windproof Cycling Gloves” from Cycle Clothes. sale price of £9.99 delivered. Next ride planned for Sunday, when it is forecast to be sunny and warm, but just held them under the cold tap for a few minutes and they seem alright.

You really need to get into the shower for a couple of hours to really test them.
