Must admit, although I've got a wilier, I'm liking the look and spec of the wilier your looking at.

That's the newer version of my La Triestina and much nicer looking (and I love mine).
Just buy both...

Certainly no expert, but the Giant seems a mish mash of Shimano bits, while the Willier is 105 all round. Willier looks better specced

I'd be comparing the weights - lift both up Have you ridden the Giant yet?

Personally, the colour of the Giant is more me, but then I'm a woman

FWIW, I had the Triestina on my shopping list but I couldn't find a local dealer and tbh it was a little above my budget. But there is a guy in my local CC that has one and it does look lush .

The Wilier it is then. To be honest its the one I'd set my heart on I just didn't want a load of people saying 'why the hell did you buy that when you could've had a Defy'. Very nice bikes but just don't get the same feeling when I look at one. Thanks again for advice

I got this bike last year, absolutley love it, superb ride and looks great. Cant compare it to anything as it was the first road bike i tested an instantly fell in love with it

My friend just bought the Campy version of La Triestina and has loved it ever since.
