I've just had to pay for a twin room at a hotel in Porthcawl (10 mins from Margam Park) as there's nothing available nearby under £80

It looks like a nice route.
There is something about the GPX file that jdtate101 linked to that my MemoryMap software didn't like, but loading it into EasyGPS and resaving it fixed it.

Yeah, it does look good and will be well needed by then. There are 2 big climbs just before the end, looking at the profile chart they seem to be long but for the most part under 10%... the granny gear will be used!
Incdentally, they want us to pin the number on our backs? I only have one hot weather top and it was expensive (assos Mille, got it in a sale) and Im not keen on sticking pins in it. I know a pin hole isn't big but any sort of snag could rip it. Im planning on taking the number with me, but not pinning it - anyone else doing that?

Paul - I've some nice clips which I got from the Etape Pennines. They mean you don't need to use pins.
