I have a variety of sticks and always have two handy tho' mostly I manage with one.
From time to time I make one if I have suitable bits as it was a hobby from some years ago when I had a supply of red deer antlers.
I have a couple of telescopic ones as well which attach to the the trikes in case of need.
The proper shepherd's crook is just for show and only appears on special occasions.

When I was a kid my Father had a pair of 'swordsticks', probably purchased in Singapore when he was in the RAF* they stood either side of the fireplace AFAIK Mum still has them but they're not something I'd want when she 'pops her clogs'

* Dad was stationed on the island of Gan in the early 60's

My father-in-law did his national service with the RAF in Singapore. Something involving radar...

During my protracted knee recovery I had one of those Leki telescopic thingies. Like a trekking pole but had a proper handle. I needed it if I was going to be on my feet for over about 20-30mins.

I'm afraid my "style" is rather utilitarian. Things like hats and walking sticks only if they serve a particular purpose
