If you want we can all let ourselves go, keep our hair frizzy, get fat, minging, grow moustaches and a forest, keep our legs lovely and furry, have underarm hair we can plait, greasy spotty skin, bad teeth and bad breath, long toe nails...
Woah! That's too much information!

I think some men like them that way. True, they remind them of their mothers.
btw, what is wrong with hair, we all have it, is it some desire for prepubescentchildren?

Women spend a fortune on creams and other ineffectual methods of keeping young looking. Why? Should the NHS regard this behaviour as a mental illness?

I think times have changed simon, and that women if anything are trying to look a bit androgynous and tomboyish, whereas men are trying to look younger.

When I started wearing combat trousers, a manbag and started going round the office on one of little scooters, all the women copied me!!! Sometimes following me to the supermarket at lunchtime in a little line just to see what knick knacks I was buying.

I see nothing wrong with trying to look young. Both my wife and I regard ourselves as reasonably well groomed and I think we look younger than our actual ages. Keeping fit helps, but I am happy to admit that I use moisturiser.

From some of the comments on here, it seems that some have just 'given up' on their looks.

is this what you want?

it's called self respect, we want to look good and for ourselves too, not just for men. this doesn't mean we are going to be mutton dressed as lamb, you can look after yourself and grow old gracefully too. it's about style

Just like some of the men I know:wacko:

Working outdoors all day, and in all weathers, I use a basic skin moisturiser and sun cream when appropriate. I always have lip-salve with me, as I hate having sore/dry lips. Same applies to going out for a ride; moisturiser and lip-salve before the off.

But I have never worried about going grey/losing hair.

Looking fit and healthy through exercise and good diet is preferable than through the cosmetic surgeon's knife, or other aids!
