Dog poo trees I think they are called now.Dog poo bags need to be big enough to be able to tie them to a bush, which I understand is the approved method of disposal

Yep my GSD fit into that categoryExactly. Some of us have big dogs that can unburden themselves of a kilo at a time.
Medium 'food bags' from Wilko, 50p for 200.Nappy bags are cheeper we have some for when we go out for the day.
But I mostly use old bread bags on the daily walks i find them easier and stronger.

Not a fan of just 'grabbing a turd' although I knew a woman (with another GSD called 'Max') who used to use them as 'handwarmers'
I used to ride tandem with a vision impaired bloke and there was some method of tying a poo bag in position at the business end of his guide dog. The dog had been trained to co-operate in this regard.Hesitate to ask, but has anyone else found it nearly impossible to get the mutt to crap into the bag?

Something wrong in their diet if you dread picking it up, dog poo should solid stools that you can easily handle (think white poo of the 60's (it's not bleached when fresh)).
