I never bother watching election stuff on tele, UK or US. I'm not interested in the mechanics of it, and whether I watch or not won't change the result so I'm quite happy to read the results in the morning. Though I do remember going to bed on the night of the 1992 UK elections thinking I'd wake up to a Labour government and being quite surprised to see the Tories where still in.
