I do, honestly, know someone who has been invited. A very ordinary person who has done a great deal of work in the public sector. She has declined but it is good to know some ordinary folk have been invited.

Now that Queen Elizabeth 2nd has gone, she can now be called Queen. Queen Consort was to avoid confusion when the real Queen was still on the throne.

But she only became Queen Consort after QEII had passed, so how does that work?

I have no idea what I'll be doing. I have seen one Royal Wedding (Prince Edward and Sophie Rhyss Jones. 1999), because I was in the hospital and I watched purely out of curiosity (also being in Strict Isolation because of Leukaemia didn't help and there was only 5 channels on the telly at the time), I have now seen a very long and boring Royal Funeral (watched to see if anything went wrong... But bugger all did. I also watched the absolute Circus that was Diana's in '97, coming to think about it), so I guess if I see this... Thing... Then I'll never have to bother with anything else ever again in me puff! 😆☺️☺️☺️
