Easy enough to make one if you're that way inclined:

Also some homemade BB taps and cone spanners ^_^

A couple of years ago I wanted to get on with changing a cassette, but had no whip.

One piece of floorboard, a few nails and an old chain and I had a homemade whip.

I still haven't felt the need to buy a "proper" one.

Going to try the youtube diy hangar alignment tool next.

If you google, there are a couple of techniques that don't need a chain whip.

On a wheel that I had, which had disintegrated (i.e. not many spokes attached after a slight incident with a Vauxhall Corsa). I just used a screwdriver poked into one of the holes in the largest sprocket and held it firm against the hub flange and remaining spokes and it was enough to lock the cassette in place while I undid the lock ring.

used mine today to swap five cassette between wheelset as i prepare to upgrade from 10s to 11s and trickle down groupsets to the rest of the fleet. i'd say 30s at the most using that Decathlon tool, the longest part of the whole process was finding one of my freehub bodies has been badly chewed to the point where I had to file off the burs to remove the cassette spacer, oops!

I need to take off and clean my cassettes more often, time to find a good sonic cleaner.

Always a difference of opinion eh 😜
Make sure you keep it flat on the cassette and it'll be OK.
This becomes increasingly difficult with the more force you apply to undo a tight lockring.
Whereas a traditional chain whip grips tighter the more force you apply.
