They are out of stock for the 26" 40mm version - were they in stock when you posted or was just the 26" 2" version available - if you can remember? A little gutted. They're 650c not 26". Planet X do have some of these though. http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/TYSCMDT/schwalbe-marathon-dureme-evo-folding-tyre They are cheap but very hard wearing and you won't get a puncture unless you roll over an IED.
Range revamp methinks....think it's called something like 'spice' nowAny idea why the City Jet isn't on Schwalbe's website?

If you are talking about a 26 by 1 3/8" size it is an old 26 fraction tyre and won't fit on your mtb. This may be a compete novice's question (well it is) but if my bike came with, as standard, a 2.1" tyre and the inner tubes and rims to fit that width tyre then:
1) If I were to change the tyre width to 1 3/8" would I need to get a new inner tube to fit the 1 3/8" tyre and slimmer rims or will the inner tube and rims handle the 1 3/8" tyre?
2) What is the max size up and down I could fit onto an inner tube and rim designed for a 2.1" width tyre?
Thank you.
Ok, I understand now. How narrow can I go on a tyre that will fit my original rim and inner tube? Would a 1.25, or no less than a 1.50 width to fit an original 2.1"?The front wheel of bike in my pic is a standard 26" mtb wheel. That rim has also had a 2" wide tyre on it in the past.
You need the modern 26 decimal tyre. For eg : 26x1.5
If tyre size quoted in fraction it will not fit. The old fraction is similar in size to a 700 wheel.
