We've got a Joe Blow, and they are also used at the bike kitchen where I had my bike maintenance classes where they get very heavy use, so guess they must be made of stern stuff!

I have a Joe Blow Max. I can't fault the pump valve head which works every time. It's blooming hard work to get up to 100 psi though. I need all my 75kg on the handle and it hurts my wrists. It works, but there must be better ones.

the track pump I got from Aldi as when I pump up my road bike tyres I have to get my daughter to hold it on the valve as it pops off with the pressure before I get close to 100 psi otherwise.

Sounds like we bought the same ALDI pump and suffered the same problem. Should have learned a lesson but instead purchased a second pump from ALDI at a later date. This time, a car-type foot pump marketed as suitable for bicycles (and a picture of a road bike on the packaging). Bent it up badly trying to achieve 75psi so returned it. Now use the Lifeline high pressure floor pump purchased from Wiggle (unsure if still available). Very solid pump and easy to achieve 100psi +. The pump's gauge is far from accurate though - mine reads too low.

I had a Joe blow too very good but somehow I lost it (dont know how) and replaced it with the revolution one mentioned earlier, to be honest I prefer it to the Joe blow so far, locks onto the valve better with a more positive grip and pumps up just as good.

I'm another that started with an Aldi one and then upgraded to a Joe Blow, which I've been using several years now.
