That it's nicked or crashed...especially the former

Don't pay with paypal, only cash

If you find something, post a link...someone will comment

you could see if @biggs682 has something retro for you

Well i inadvertently bought a claud butler off ebay this week only covered about 200miles as the chap i bought it off was more of an mtb fan
Probably not the done thing but i havebt looked at it yet goinng to collect on wednesday but taking cash with me he has kindly thrown in a pair of shoes to go with the pedals the original pedals two spare tyres as he swapped the originals for blue tyres as the frame is white mainky with bkue and red detail and a heart rate monitor
not too bad really for 200 quid and first time road bike i thought

18.3 Stone, and just bought a new Triban5 from decathlon. So far so good, no problems, but its early days. Have a look at Triban 3 riders club thread on this site.
I think they are good value for money many people swear by them. They seem to have a cult following. You would have to pay a lot more to get the same spec.

i will be wearing a helmet whether those that think they dont save lives or not i know for a fact they do after my father in law has been knocked off three times and only for the fact he was wearing a helmet he didnt die the last time
sorry if that sounds arsey but i am all for the safety side as i know alot of people who have had near misses

Specialized helmets meet the higher safety standards, have a look at those, pretty much for sale everywhere

The echelon is a popular road helmet at around £50.

Having hit my head on the road last Sunday, I ned to now replace my nearly new £60 helmet even though there's no great damage. So personally, I wouldn't spend a fortune

You don't need to justify wearing a helmet, it's your choice
