Got a subscription to C+ 'cos it was 50% off, but prefer cycling active. C+ used to be quite varied, but now just seems to have expensive road bikes.

None any more, except A to B- I still have a subscription to that. Occasionally, very occasionally, get CW. If I'm waiting for takeaway food or planning a medium length shoot it's just about right (although increasingly I keep poetry in the crapper, I reckon I learn more about cycling from that)

I love bike magazines. I used to get Cycling World, Bicycle Times, Bicycle and Bicycle Action. My favourite was New Cyclist, which became Cycling Today, which sadly stopped publishing.

Now, my favourite is Citycycling, which is online. In print, Singletrack is brilliant (though I've never owned a mountain bike), and I still buy Cycling World whenever I see it. I have a subscription to C+, but it's a bit dull and monotonous. I've enjoyed some aspects of Cycling Active, but it is still a bit amateurish, and not so distinguishable from C+ in some respects.

I also have a sub to Velovision, which is always interesting and inspiring. I used to read A to B, but it just bangs on ad nauseam about electric bikes now, which gets tedious after a while.

I've also read pretty much every bike mag on the market. I buy the occasional Cycling Weekly, and have read MBUK, which includes the brilliant Mint Sauce, MBR, Cyclesport, Miroir du Cyclisme, Velo, Rouleur and many others.

To be honest I'm a bit of a freebie whore and that usually decides what I'm going to read!

I don't buy cycling mags anymore. They just make you want to buy stuff, especially the expensive stuff. Now I just get out and ride to discover what I need to buy.

The inspirational stories come not from professional writers but folk on here and blogs and the like. Thank you
