looking for a new hybrid for around £500,something light and fast

2011 Specialized Sirrus sport or elite? I have a 2010 Sport, yet to ride it but it was definitely light when I took it down to the shed, meant to be fast too. Just waiting for more reliable weather and to better strengthen a recently surgeried knee!

Last time I looked JE James still had some GT Traffic 1.0's left which are a bargain and worth trying for a further reduction at this late stage as I did see one seller with them at £399 for the small size.

Another vote here for the 7.3FX. Great bike - fast and tough, and a bit cheaper than the Sirrus (I think).

I have just ordered a Giant Seek 3,its not as light as some of the others mentioned but it is fast with really good brakes.

After a lot of searching I've ordered a Ridgeback Supernova (10.49kg allegedly) which comes with 6061 alu frame and carbon fork and Shimano Deore spec throughout. You really have to have your wits about you though as, quite apart from the queer method of frame sizing, I've seen at least two dealers advertising 2011 bikes with 2009 spec.
