Doh, i liked the look of them. Doesnt look like you can fit them in a helmet vent and still operate them though anyway  Id prefer it to look subtle than riding round looking like the droid
I understand what you mean. Unfortunately nothing like that has been made yet.
Everything currently for sale is either cylinderical or oblong in shape, so if you want poor quality with a high risk of breaking, then go for the MUVI. If not then go for something a bit better.

Not saying your wrong but i cant find any reviews on the muvi cams being poor quality or being known for going wrong.

Fair enough the price is lower than the higher end stuff, how many others have had a muvi cam go wrong?

I have heard mentions in the past about them just cutting out and not working after 2/3 days. The mounts are also a bit weak when wobbled about (mounted on a bike). The main drawback is the quality though. I have seen a video on Youtube from one of the really cheap ones and it was absolutely terrible. I wouldnt touch one to save my life.

The video quality isn't that good i know, although youtube can destroy a good quality pic.

Friend of mine has a gopro and that is supherb, but even youtube makes the quality poor(er)

Are you sure these YOUTUBE vids are muvi cam? i've had my cam for a couple of months and he is thoroughly bomb proof. (He over took me going down hill). I looked at many reviews and feedback's and the positives outweighed the bad.

It's got a solid build, good weight and if you look on youtube you will be able to see it in action. Not a not trying to be a Muvi-fanboy, but i think you may be confusing camera models.

Besides if you buy from a reputable place you can return it if it is not fit for purpose.

PS Video quality depends on which class SD card you use. Class 10 being better video quality.

Those will be the clones, the cheap chinese knockoffs. They aren't the actual muvi cameras.

But still, I would recommend spending a bit more and getting a better camera. The muvi has a small battery which will only last 1h30mins max and the lens angle is only around 60degrees.

I want to go chest mount, apart from the gopro and the muvi, are there any others with this.

Not to my knowledge, as most others are in bullet form and don't really suit chest mounted.
