My Grandfather had the inverse of that (sort of!) maroony-crimson with a cream coloured stripe. I loved that car!The Gazelle was my favourite: it was sort of ivory white with a red side flash - very swanky
Remembered not so much with affection as incredulity: the Morris Marina that seemed to be a favourite for the Starsky & Hutch paint job.

Oh, I don't know, there's a certain irony about those sorta paint jobsWhen I were a teenager there was a local lad who had a Vauxhall Ventora painted in full General Lee colours. At the time were were impressed, but looking back it so show doesnt seem so cool.
