We made it to the Med' - 46 days total (four of which were rest days)
Lost a stone each on the way 🤔

You're right about not enough cake though.
Trouble is on a trip like this you have to carry all your cake with you, and there's a limit to how much you can port 🤔
Once a sneaky mouse chewed it's way into the top of my pack and ate the breakfast-cake that was awaiting.. Grr
Outrageous!!
But I guess that's what you get for camping in 'their' woods - they see it as an 'offering'.
But all in all it was a fantastic journey...
Look at all that scenery and sunshine !! 😊

I don't think 'epic' is too much like hyperbole.
And some bits are so remote you really do feel like you've 'Got away from it all'
It was four days before we found out that Queenie had popped her clogs.

Have to say It was quite a relief to be out of the country for all the resultant hoohah
