After trawling through loads of similar requests on yacf, and recommendations from various trusted contributors, I bought one from here.
BUT I only ordered it yesterday, and it isn't currently in stock, so I'll have a couple of weeks to wait, and longer before I can confirm quality.
As @Neilsmith has pointed out, random ebay purchases may result in tears or worse. Some seem suspiciously cheap, and there's probably a good reason for this, while mdsbattery seem to be well established and have a reputation to protect.

Not really an answer to your specific question but..............having had the same quandary recently I decided..............
1) If the battery has gone then my laptop must be quite old.
2) The price of a guaranteed good quality battery is not cheap.
3) A brand new laptop with far better specs than my old one was £300.00
