Where is "best" showroom within 20 mile radius of Warrington?

Thanks-they are the "national chain" I refered to (think they're national??)
They had Scott & Cannondale........neither of which excited me much-but TBH the guy didn't even offer to get one of them off the rack so I didn't even get to touch them-so I'm going purely off appearance.

Cyclehouse aren't a national chain although they do sell online. I think their shop is very nice for its size. The guys are normally pretty good and you can always get a test-ride or -sit if you ask there. They sell some decent Trek hybrids there btw.

Guessing your local is Ron Spencer if they had Giants and GTs? Both make a fine selection of hybrids of different types (road-oriented through to light off-road) at different budgets... you could try out a few at Ron Spencer then get Evans to ship one on to the Trafford Centre store for you (probably be cheaper).

+1 for Evans at Trafford Centre. They were very good when I went and that was before the refurb.

+1 for both cycle house and Ron spencer. Have purchased bikes from both of these in the last 12 months and they were always courteous and the after service has been excellent from both.
