What's a card anyway?

I thinks it's a C19 thing which lingered into C20. I recall sending a card as late as 1975 but it's a tradition that's all but died out now.

My neighbours sent me a card the year that I moved here. I don't 'do' Christmas so I just ignored it...

As expected (and hoped), they haven't sent another!
