I purchased a set of Mavic Aksium wheels with disc and cassette.
I had not done my homework. The wheels to start was not quick release no big deal I purchased the converter and wheels on.
I took my cassette off my old wheels and on new wheels but gears are all over the place and has a spacer on as it was 11 on the cassette I took off and mine is 9. So a bit of tuning to be done which never done before so it’s a bit of a stress.
The last one is a bit not one I am sure on I’ve not had this issue before that the front breaks are rubbing not on pads but the brakes. My old wheels was 6 bolt and these a centre bolt. The disc are 160mm which is same as old wheels. I’ve added a picture showing the rear of the brake disc rubbing the brake housing. Not sure if can change to another break disc to get round this or any other ideas?
just wish had checked everything before buying aa what thought be straight change over is not so.
