I had a set of the Mavic Ksyrium disc on my CAAD12 and used them over last winter with no complaints. The bike got replaced under warranty and a hankering for new wheels made me put a set of Fulcrum Quattro carbon discs on the replacement when it arrived. Again no complaints with the Fulcrums and being mid depth carbon I think they look better, which scientifically proves they are faster

Still got the Mavics in the garage, unused, but they are QR.

It's your money, so if you want to spend it on something you like, then do so and enjoy whatever you buy.

Another for Hunt wheels here,not the disc ones though.

Also been happy with my hand-builts on the XLS;Archetype rims with Novatec hubs,run nicely tubeless with Schwalbe S-Ones too.

i'm looking at the mavic carbon sl discs, just because i want new wheels and no other reason.......i believe that a set of semi deepish (40mm) look good on bikes.
