^^^^ Except I am suggesting that the OP inserts the model number. Doing that, varying the search just a little or going a little further down the results can sometimes point to the exact issue....

^^^ Or maybe inserting the particular Android OS number. You get this if you go to settings then scroll down to 'about phone' and click on it, this will give you version of Android you have.

@Dave7, have you got grandkids or know any children between 3 and 20? Just give them your phone and they'll sort it.

Or do a google search something like 'Share whatsapp photos Samsung Galaxy [insert model number].

Thats the next step. I hoped it would be something simple that I was missing.
My grandaughter is a typical 16 year old so if it can be sorted I am sure she can do it.
