I like it, tidy but not fussy and with room to move without tripping over random items on the floor, but what happened to the seat on the Giant ? Looks like the pointy bit got chewed

Still a bit messy, but certainly the beginnings of something. There's still 2 hooks waiting to be used.;)

Very pleased to see that l am not alone in appreciating the benefits of some order and symmetry, and is that a "white board" l see behind the yellow bike?
Ooh la la, l need one of those ;)

White board it certainly is and a white board marker is always attached to it, great for taking notes during turbo session. There is plenty that you cannot see, I will have to take some more pictures one day. Needless to say there is a 32inch flat screen with a Fire stick in it right in front of the turbo bike.

Spokesmann the winner by far. Love a bit of every thing in its place and a place for everything. The place being the workshop and that's close enough for me.

Thank you, a lot of bikes have passed through here, its looks a little untidy, but I know where everything is. In fact its really the old scullery for the house and was built in 1851, it still has its original windows and cladding. My own space and refuge!

Workshop - ? WORKSHOP - ?? I sould be so lucky - ! When the GLW isn't getting in the way, I have to use part of the kitchen - ! And half the bikes are hers - ! Often if i'm fiddling with say the brakes on one of my bikes, I get 'Oh the brakes on my...... haven't worked properly for ages' ( ? ! )
Having said that though, my experience of LBS workshops / areas in the three best LBSs I've ever come across; Madgetts, Freemans and AP Cycles ( Andy Panks, formerly of Specialised Cycles fame, now running his own business and the very best of luck to him ) is that they look like a bomb has hit them. :eek:Untidy is an understatement. So what does that say then - ?

I've posted this video before but this is my favourite workshop, I'll bet John knows where everything is.

BTW the reason there are pictures of vintages racing motorbikes and sidecar outfits on the back of the stairs door is that he builds a lot of wheels up for the VMCC fraternity, he's also listed in the classic Maserati and Ferrari owners clubs as a recommended wheelbuilder. :becool:

Untidy isn't as bad as disorganised. Untidy may simply be as a result of being busy whereas disorganised is more like have no idea what lm doing.
