This one -- the lightest I own -- weighs 8.2 kilos (18lbs)

On edit: BTW, that's w/ computers, cages, pump bracket and pedals. It's not "in the region of," it's exactly 18lb on the nose, as measured w/ Park digital hanging scale. Frame is 1200g.

My Boardman Comp weighs 19.5lbs allegedly (sans pedals)... it certainly has the 'one finger pickup-able' factor

Have just picked mine (11kg/24lbs) up with one finger! In addition it also had a saddle bag containing tool kit and spare inner tube.

i weighed my bikes today using the crude bathroom scales method, so give or take half a kilo:
pimp race bike is 7.5kg
scott audax bike is 12kg (with rack , but not bag)
fixie is bang on 10kg (good considering it's steel)
...and my mtb is a heffer at 16kg!
... and i'm 76kg
