My avatar is a picture of me. I know that's an unconventional concept, but there you go. It was taken after my niece's wedding which is why I am wearing my (one and only, very cheap) suit. My sister had the camera and had just told me that I looked like a club doorman, so I grabbed her sunglasses and put them on. "Now I look like one!" said I merrily as she took the photograph. If you look hard, you can see me smiling; I look even more serious when I'm not in a good mood...

I declared my gender to avoid any possible embarrassing misunderstandings in the future - I wouldn't want anyone to mistake me for a woman .

PS - not that there is anything wrong with being a woman...

I have Regginald Iolanthe Perrin as my avatar, and for good reason...I am becoming him...day by day my world resembles his and I am turning into him. At every product tasting I have to bite my tongue from wanting to blurt out "Bolivian Unicyclist Jockstrap" when asked my opinion of the flavour of our latest creation.
